This site exists to get you a quote from the branch that will do the work. Almost everything we hold about you, you typed into a quote request. This page explains what we collect, why we have it, and how to reach us about it.

What you send us
A quote request asks for what we need to price the job and get back to you. Nothing on this site requires an account, and you do not have to identify yourself to read it.
- Your name, company, email address and phone number
- The products or services you are asking about, and any quantities
- What you need and by when, in your own words
- The branch you would like it to go to, if you have a preference
Files you attach
You can attach drawings, photographs and specifications to a quote request. We use them to understand the job and to price it. They are stored with the request and are available to the people working on your quote.
Send only what the quote needs. If a drawing is commercially sensitive, say so in the request. If it is covered by a confidentiality agreement, tell us before you send it.
Why we have it, and who sees it
To prepare your quote, to ask you questions about it, and to do the work if you go ahead.
A quote request goes to the Atlantic Canada branch best placed to handle it, or to head office when no branch is a clear fit. It is seen by our staff and by the service providers that host this site and deliver our email. We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies and what stays on your device
This site does not use cookies for advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
Two things are kept in your own browser. A quote list, so items you add stay put as you move between pages, and a draft of a quote request you have started but not sent, so a reload does not cost you the work. A saved draft is cleared automatically after a short time. Both stay on your device and reach us only when you send the request. Clearing your browsing data removes them.
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. We do not use them to identify you.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct something that is wrong and we will. The law allows a few narrow exceptions, such as where a reply would reveal someone else’s personal information.
Ask us to delete a quote request and we will, unless we still need it for work in progress or for a record we have to keep. We keep quote requests for as long as they are useful for the purposes above and for our ordinary business records.
