Hampidjan Canada is a supplier and service partner for Atlantic Canada's commercial fishing, aquaculture, marine, industrial, and offshore work. We sell the gear — and we do the work behind it.

Hampidjan started in Iceland and grew into one of the world's leading fishing gear and rope manufacturers.

Trawl & Net Services
Trawls designed, built and repaired in our own lofts — doors, groundgear and codends rigged as one system.
Rope Splicing & Rigging
Rope and wire splicing, terminations, and rigging assemblies built for real working loads.
Welding & Fabrication
Crab frames, heavy equipment repair and custom fabrication in steel, stainless, aluminium and Hardox.
Marine Canvas & Upholstery
Marine covers, equipment covers, bags and upholstery — new work and repairs, measured and fitted on site.
Inspection & Testing
Hands-on rope, wire and lifting-gear inspection, with testing when the job calls for it.
Custom Marine & Industrial
One-off gear built to order and proven in service — dredges, pots, recovery nets and research gear.

We don't just sell it. We build it, rig it, and stand behind it.
Most of what we supply, we also make or finish in-house. That means gear matched to your vessel and fishery, turnarounds measured against the season, and one team accountable from spec to delivery.
